Professional achievement in the superior performance of duties while serving as the Information Systems Support Chief for the 6th Marine Corps District from May to October 1997. During this period, Staff Sergeant Stufflebeam performed his duties in a exemplary and highly professional manner. He was instrumental in the successful relocation of all data systems assets from the temporary to permanent facilities aboard Parris Island. He was involved in all phases of the move; ensuring data connectivity was established to each and every desktop. Staff Sergeant Stufflebeam planned and supervised the installation of a state-of-the-art network that supports speeds of up to ten times faster than that in the temporary facilities. Staff Sergeant Stufflebeam's initiative, professionalism and devotion to duty reflected great credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service.
