During this period, Staff Sergeant Stufflebeam performed his demanding duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner. He exhibited outstanding leadership and meticulous attention to detail in the support of the District's overall recruiting mission which resulted in his selection as the 6th Marine Corps District Headquarters "Support Marine of the Quarter" for the third quarter, fiscal year 1997. Staff Sergeant Stufflebeam's superior professional ability, leadership and total devotion to duty reflected great credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the U.S. Marine Corps.
